The Myron Heaton Chorale is devoted to sharing choral music with Las Vegas and Henderson residents as well as listeners across the United States and abroad. The community-wide chorus is now in its 24th season under the direction of Myron Heaton.
THE MYRON HEATON CHORALE’S 25th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT MAY 17th
The Myron Heaton Chorale will present its 25th Anniversary Celebratory Concert on Sunday, May 17th at 3:00 PM in the Doc Rando Hall, Beam Music Center at the University of Nevada Las Vegas located at 4505 S Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas 89154. Parking is in the parking garage next to Ham Hall and directly behind Beam Music Center.
The program will include a wide selection of music from classical Beethoven and Brahms to contemporary Heinz Werner Zimmermann’s “Psalmkonzert” featuring a jazz combo of a vibraphone, string bass and three trumpets. Dave Courvoisier, news anchor from award-winning Channel 8 News, will be the moderator. In addition, there will be a special performance by Soprano Rossana Cota and her Les Chanteuses Women’s Chorus from The Clark County School District’s Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
Admission is free as the concert is the chorale’s gift to the community. All are welcome to join the Myron Heaton Chorale’s celebration of its 25th Anniversary
