Myron Heaton Chorale

The Myron Heaton Chorale will present a new edition and completion of Mozart’s “Grand Mass in C Minor” on Sunday evening, March 10, 2013 at 7:00 PM at The Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 W Sahara Ave in Las Vegas. Mozart had not completed this Mass.  He borrowed portions he had written to use elsewhere, but Mozart himself had never put it all together. After years of research by Director Myron Heaton, he has featured all the known finished parts as well as the newly completed sections. The music is still all Mozart.
With Paula Johnson at the piano, soloists will be Rossana Cota on soprano I; Megan Franke on soprano II; Kim Chai on tenor; and Fred Crescente on bass. Tickets are $10.00 and are available at The Lake Lutheran Church (702-363-2515), at the door, or from chorale members.  This glorious Mozart music concert will be a benefit for Lutheran Social Services of Nevada.

The Myron Heaton Chorale is a long standing chorus devoted to sharing the chorale music with Las Vegas residents as well as listeners across the United States and abroad. The community-wide chorus drawn from the entire Las Vegas Valley is a group comprised of adult singers, most of whom are volunteers.
